Why another lesson app?
Most studio apps charge every month, even for teachers with a handful of students. Many teachers end up with a paper notebook and a payment app, matching the two by hand.
This one covers the core: who comes when, what happened in each lesson, and whether it is paid. It does that well and costs nothing.
Questions
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No trial, no account and no limit on students or lessons. If we ever add paid extras, such as sync between devices, they will be a one-time purchase and the book itself stays free.
- Where is my data?
- Only in this browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to us. That keeps your students' details private, but it also means you should save a backup file now and then; the page reminds you.
- Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?
- Each browser keeps its own book. Save a backup on one device and restore it on the other to move your book. Automatic sync is not built in yet.
- How are no-shows and cancellations handled?
- No-shows and late cancellations are charged at the lesson price; ordinary cancellations are not. You can change the price of any lesson, for example to waive a fee.
- Can I prepay lessons?
- Yes. Record the payment, and the student shows a credit that goes down with every lesson.
